Admissions dates Extended till 20th Aug

ALIGARH, August 6: The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Prof. P.K. Abdul Azis has approved an extension in the closing date of Admissions in the University up to 20th August 2011 to facilitate the candidates applying for nomination for admission to various courses in the University.
Assistant Controller, Admission, Mr. Ataat Husain said that a good number of seats are still remaining unfilled in various courses as a large number of candidates offered multiple choice of courses. Besides this, the cases of nominations are also under process and candidates belonging to Distant State category need time to reach for reporting and completing the admission formalities.
Mr. Husain said that in view of the above and to utilize maximum resources for ensuring filling up of the vacancies in all courses to the largest extent as per the rules of the University, the Vice Chancellor has approved the extension in the date of extension.
