Last date for re-admission, continuation set

LIGARH,: The Aligarh Muslim University has declared the last date for continuation and re-admission of various courses in the University for the session 2011-12.
Prof. Ainul Haq Khan, Dean, Students’ Welfare said that for the continuation in next higher classes or same classes and re-admission, all the eligible students are required to submit their application on prescribed proforma for continuation available in the respective Dean’s Officers, complete in all respect in the office of the Dean/Principal/Coordinator concerned.
Prof. Khan said that the University will re­open after the summer vacation on 1st August and the classes (except M.Phil./Ph.D. Programme) will start from the same date. He said that the continuation process for all courses except Faculty of Medicine and Unani Medicine, should be completed upto 16th August. Prof. Khan urged the students those who are not able to complete the continuation formalities in time as specified may do so within a week’s time (upto 23.08.2011) after the payment of an additional amount of ` 500/-. Those still failing to deposit the dues upto the said date, may do so, after a payment of an additional amount of ` 800/-. Attendance of the students will be counted from the date of commencement of classes as notified by the respective Deans, Principals and Coordinators, he added.
