AMU News: Yusuf selected for deve programme‏, Khalil in Seminar

ALIGARH July 29: Mr. Seth Zulfiqar Mohammad Yusuf, a student of the Civil Services Coaching Programme of Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Aligarh Muslim University has been selected for one year Extensive Professional Development Programme Master Business Administration, Project Management and Global Leadership Development Programme in the Virginia University, USA under the Community College Initiative Programme (CCIP)by the Fulbright Commission funded by the Global Education Fund. Department of State, Government of USA, Washington, DC.
Mr. Seth Zulfiqar Mohammad Yusuf informed Prof. Ziauddin Khairoowala, Director, RCA that the achievement could be made due to extensive coaching and constant counseling for Civil Services through esteemed teachers especially English and Mathematics classes which helped him to perform well in test of English for international communication.
Dr. Nadeem Khalil participated in "Environmental Science Seminar"
ALIGARH, July 28: Dr. Nadeem Khalil, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Z.H. College of Engineering & Technology, participated in an International Conference on “Environmental Sciences and Engineering” held at Prague, Czech Republic recently.
Dr. Nadeem Khalil presented his paper entitled “Constructed Wetlands for Removal of Organic and Microbial Pollutants from Effluent of Municipal VASB-Reactors”. His paper is based on the research work he completed at IIT Delhi for his Ph.D.
This conference was attended by over 1000 delegates from across the world and about 425 high quality papers were presented on different topics of Wetlands Sciences and Engineering. It is important to note that Dr. Kalil was the only participant from India.
Besides this, Mr. Khalil has recently been selected as one of the Ambassadors for “Study in Holland” by the Ministry of Education, Government of Netherlands through Dutch Alumni Office based in India. Under this assignment, he has to promote and guide aspirant Indian students for pursuing their higher education in new and advance areas of Sciences and Engineering in Dutch Universities.
