JNMC Aligarh ranked 22th in 273 Medical Colleges of India‏

ALIGARH July 20: The Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College of Aligarh Muslim University has been ranked among the top 25 Medical Colleges of India out of 273 Medical Colleges recognized by the Medical Council of India.
AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis said that the J. N. Medical College will soon witness further strides both in terms of academic achievements and technological and professional facilities as the University has put in place a well conceived action plan for strengthening its existing facilities under the grant of Rs. 150 Crore from the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna.
Prof. M. Ashraf Malik, Principal and CMS, J. N. Medical College said that the survey published by India Today in its latest issue of 18th July 2011 has ranked J. N. Medical College 22nd among the top 25 Medical Colleges of India. Prof. Malik urged the staff and students of the College to work hard to achieve better ranking in 2012.
