New Study Centers sanctioned for Distance Education programe

ALIGARH : The Centre for Distance Education, Aligarh Muslim University has established five new Study Centres in different parts of the country.
The Director, Distance Education Centre, Dr. Mohd. Rizwan Khan said that the AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis has granted approval for the establishment of these centres at Makhdoom Abdul Qasim Educational and Welfare Society, Saharsa, New Horizon School, Bhagalpur and Al-Aziz Educational Foundation Trust, Muzaffarpur in Bihar while the remaining two centres will be established at Asim Siddiqui Memorial Degree College, Badaun and Madrasa Serajuyl Uloom, Sambhal, Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh.
Dr. Khan said that the approval has been given without any financial commitment on the part of the University and that these centres will function under the purview of the Centre for Distance Education. The Distance Education Centre will offer graduate and undergraduate courses at these Centres.
